Executive Counsellor, Couples Therapist and Leadership Coach

Lisa understands that everyone – no matter how successful or “together” they outwardly appear – may be grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, stress or moments of simply feeling overwhelmed.  During a session, you can expect a deep exploration of your personal history and a collaborative approach to getting you on a path towards being the best possible version of yourself.

For couples, sessions with Lisa will focus on helping both partners truly see and understand their mate’s needs.  Even if one (or both of you) are feeling hopeless about your relationship, couples counselling can help you reconnect and, if necessary, renegotiate the terms of your union.  Many couples have successfully weathered crises like infidelity or addiction and emerged with an updated, “2.0” version of their relationship that better holds both individuals.

Lisa is a trained practitioner of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Emotion Efficacy Therapy (EET).  She has completed Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and is accredited as an Associate Coach by the International Coaching Federation. She is also certified by The Leadership Circle to offer managers comprehensive 360° performance assessments that focus on their inner state of being.

Lisa holds a Master of Counselling degree from Australia’s Monash University and Master of Arts (Journalism) from Western University in Canada. She is a Level 3 Certified Master Practitioner with the Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors Singapore (APACS #A0391) and is registered with the Singapore Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (SAC #D0652).

Before becoming a counsellor, Lisa spent over 25 years working as a financial broadcast journalist and is a former co-host of CNBC Asia’s Squawk Box. She is the Founder and CEO of boutique media training company Oake Media and a contributor for Forbes.com where she writes about executive mental health.
