Dr. Poon is a board-certified psychiatrist offering both online and in-person sessions to Singapore-based clients of ExecutiveCounselling.com. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2009, and achieved her Membership in Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK) in 2013, before qualifying as a specialist in psychiatry by the Ministry of Health, Singapore, in 2015. She also received further training and obtained a Masters in Science (Sleep Medicine) from University of Oxford in 2022. In addition to her work as a consultant psychiatrist in Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, Dr Poon is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Duke-NUS Medical School, where she is active in neuroscience research.
 
In addition to general psychiatry, her clinical interests include neuropsychiatry, sleep medicine, psychosomatic medicine and ADHD. She also has a special interest in mind body medicine, and strongly believes in the power of thoughts and emotions to influence and promote physical health. She believes in a strong collaborative approach with patients on optimising mental health and performance through individualised mind body interventions.
